We opened our doors in September 2006 and have had many children benefiting from a quality Montessori education.  Our teachers are ECE (Early Childhood Education) certified and have been trained in the Montessori philosophy through the AMI (Association Montessori Internationale) program.  AMI was started in 1929 by Maria Montessori, the founder of the Montessori philosophy.  The training today closely follows the original work of Maria Montessori, started over 100 years ago.  At Morgan Creek Montessori, we pride ourselves with our high level of training and dedication to the Montessori philosophy.  We look forward to working with many children and their families in the South Surrey area.   

Carrie is the owner and administrator of Morgan Creek Montessori.  She took over ownership of the school in 2008 and has made many positive changes to the program.  Carrie has a deep passion for Montessori education, having started herself at three years of age.  She graduated with her AMI Casa Diploma in 2005 and her Assistants to Infancy (Infant/Toddler) Diploma in 2012.  She also has her Bachelors of Arts in History and Political Science from the University of Calgary.  Outside of school, Carrie enjoys spending time with her husband and dogs, enjoying the outdoors, and traveling whenever she gets the chance. 

Hayley Voth - Directress

Hayley began her Montessori education at the age of three years and continued in the Montessori Elementary program until grade five.  She brings with her a wealth of knowledge from her own educational experiences as well as from working in a wide variety of childcare settings including daycare, preschool, infant/toddler care, Montessori, and summer camps.  In 2010 she attained her AMI Casa Diploma and joined us as the directress.  Hayley has a passion for working with children and believes that each day she has something new to learn from her experiences when working with them. 

Jasbir Mann - Assistant

Jasbir has recently joined our school as our assistant after completing the AMI Assistant course in 2012.  Prior to joining our school she taught high school in India for over 15 years and holds her Masters of Science and Masters of Education degrees from India.  After immigrating to Canada, she started working with young children and completed her ECE in 2012.  During her ECE course she learned about the Montessori philosophy and  was greatly influenced by its principles of independence, freedom within limits and respect for the child's natural psychological development.  Jasbir enjoys spending her free time with family, listening to music, and reading books.
