We opened our doors in September 2006 and have had five successful years with many children benefiting from a quality Montessori education.  Our teachers are ECE (Early Childhood Education) certified and have been trained in the Montessori philosophy through the AMI (Association Montessori Internationale) program.  AMI was started in 1929 by Maria Montessori, the founder of the Montessori philosophy.  The training today closely follows the original work of Maria Montessori, started over 100 years ago.  At Morgan Creek Montessori, we pride ourselves with our high level of training and dedication to the Montessori philosophy.  We look forward to working with many children and their families in the South Surrey area.   

Carrie is the owner and administrator of Morgan Creek Montessori.  She took over ownership of the school in 2008 and has made many positive changes to the program.  Carrie has a deep passion for Montessori education, having started herself at three years of age.  She completed her AMI Casa training in 2005 and is currently working towards her Assistants to Infancy certification.  Outside of school, Carrie enjoys spending time with her husband and dogs, enjoying the outdoors, and traveling whenever she gets the chance.
